New Jersey Ballet will hold auditions Wednesday, September 25 at 4:30PM on the stage at bergen PAC, 30 North Van Brunt Street, Englewood (across from the railroad station) to fill the roles of Mother Ginger’s clown children in the Company’s acclaimed production of Nutcracker. Children must be between the ages of 7 and 13 and have at least two years of ballet and/or gymnastics training. Those children selected will perform with the professional cast when New Jersey Ballet brings it’s popular Nutcracker to Englewood for four performances on December 7 and 8.

This season is the 33rd year that New Jersey Ballet’s Nutcracker has played at bergen PAC. The production, known for its splendid special effects, lavish costumes and magnificent dancing, will open on Saturday, December 7 with performances at 1:00PM and 4:30PM, and continue on Sunday, December 8 at 1:00PM and 4:30PM.

In addition to the age requirement (7 through 13 years) and training (at least two years of ballet and/or gymnastics), children must be available to rehearse on the seven Sundays starting October 13 through November 24 from 12:30 to 3:00PM. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled immediately prior to performance dates.
