bergenPAC presents Raise the Curtain II on Sunday, June 10. The show is an end-of-year performance and fundraiser for the Performing Arts School at bergenPAC (PAS).

With the theme “New York, New York,” the school’s talented dance, music and theater students will take the stage for a special collaborative production. The 1 p.m. show will feature the school’s younger students, while the 4 p.m. highlights the pre-professional level performers.

In addition to its on-site students, some of the schools in PAS’s outreach program, Beyond bergenPAC, will participate. Beyond bergenPAC has proven to be a valuable resource across the region as many schools have had to slash their arts budgets. Visiting teachers conduct workshops and year-long residences at over 100 schools across nine counties. The initiative also puts on in-school assemblies, hosts field trips to see performances in the bergenPAC theater during the school day, and co-produces theater productions at middle and high schools.

Raise the Curtain II, following on the success of last year’s inaugural production, provides students of all ages and talent levels with a chance to shine on bergenPAC’s main stage.
