Pop Star Academy: LIVE!
Pop Star Academy is hitting the road! For our spring semester concert, Pop Star Academy Kids and Artist Development students will take their performances beyond bergenPAC and into a local music venue, giving young artists the opportunity to experience what it’s like to perform in a professional live-music setting.
Students will learn the art of soundcheck, microphone and stage setup, working with venue staff, adapting to a new performance space, and connecting with a live audience. They’ll also experience what it means to perform as a supporting artist, opening the show before a headlining performance by Pop Star Academy Director Ashley Tobias (TOBI).
Throughout the concert, students will also have opportunities to perform alongside TOBI, experiencing firsthand how artists collaborate, share the stage, and contribute to a complete live show.
By performing in different venues and performance settings, Pop Star Academy students gain real-world experience while building the confidence, professionalism, and versatility needed to step onto any stage.
