bergenPAC is Back!

Jul 2, 2021 View All News

As the summer heats up, bergenPAC is excited to announce that it will soon reopen the theater after being forced dark for more than 15 months. Preparations are underway to once again bring the lights up on the Taub Stage starting Sunday, Aug. 15 when heavy metal icons Queensrÿche kick off the new season.

“We tried to stay optimistic, but as the months passed by there was no guarantee that bergenPAC would emerge and be able to reopen our doors,” bergenPAC President & CEO Dominic Roncace said. “But here we are, and on behalf of everyone, I want to thank our patrons. Your steadfast support and belief in our value to the community made it possible for us to get to where we are today.”

Parts of the 2021 Fall and Winter lineup are performances that were postponed from 2020, but the Programming Department is also adding new headliners and family-favorites to ensure the holiday season will have something for everyone to enjoy.

To ensure a comfortable and safe experience for visitors and staff, a variety of procedures have been put in place using recommendations and guidelines from New Jersey officials and the CDC. Read more about the current protocols here:

“Serving as your home for live cultural arts and entertainment is a privilege and a joy,” Roncace said. “We cannot wait to welcome everyone back through our doors.”
