The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC Programs

Our arts education programs provide unique, “hands-on” arts training by industry professionals that allow students to gain real world experience and enhance academic achievement through the arts, as well as opportunities to perform on bergenPAC’s main stage and throughout the county. bergenPAC’s arts education initiatives occur on-site at the Performing Arts School building at 1 Depot Square, Englewood, or off-site at your school. Our school year runs between September 12 and June 5th. We have a variety of classes in Early Childhood, Music, Dance and Theater.

Early Childhood

This comprehensive early childhood program services our youngest student population. These classes are the beginning of their journey at The Performing Arts School, and lay the foundation to create lifelong learners of the arts.

Dance

Our electrifying dance program is under the direction of Roberta Mathes. With our NYC professional and stellar faculty, our dance program has had resounding success in reaching children and members of the community!

Theater

Through the classes offered at bergenPAC students are given the opportunity to create, expand, build their confidence, and have a broad and comprehensive understanding of theater.

Music

The Performing Arts School is dedicated to developing musicians through our Music programs. Music has many different styles to explore, and The Performing Arts School does not limit our students to one particular style of playing.

Beyond bergenPAC
Beyond bergenPAC's school partnership initiative works with local schools to customize arts education programs that fit their needs, budget, and schedule. Initiatives complement any curriculum and meet New Jersey's Core Curriculum Standards.
