Dickey Betts & Great Southern and The Outlaws

Founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts, is one of the most well known names in the world of rock. His Goldtop guitar is has become a symbolic character all its own during his stage performances. With the Allman Brothers, Betts and his band members presented to the world of rock a brand new sound and a totally fresh style of guitar playing, winning a Grammy Award for the instrumental “Jessica.”

The Outlaws, lead by original member and singer Henry Paul have been touring since the late 70’s on the back of a string of hits including GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES, THERE GOES ANOTHER LOVE SONG , and GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY. They were one of the originators of the multi-guitar lineup prevalent in southern rock.
